June 15, Sunday 2-4 P.M. Annual Strawberry Festival

Held in garden area behind the Preservation Hall, 300 Main Street.

Honoring Father's Day, featuring native strawberries over freshly baked biscuits, with real whipped cream! Adults, $5; children under 12, $3.

HOUSE TOUR

August 17, Sunday, 11 AM to 4PM. Annual House Tour. As of August 16, tickets are sold out.

The annual House Tour hosted by the Wellfleet Historical Society will be pm Sunday, August 17 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is the non-profit Society's major fundraiser.

The Tour will be featuring several interesting houses this year - some old and some contemporary.

The tour requires driving and walking. A detailed program and map are provided.

Tickets are $15 each, and may be bought after August 1st at the Historical Society Museum, 266 Main Street; at Abiyoyo, at the Left Bank Gallery, and at the Jules Besch Gallery, all in the center of Wellfleet;; and at the Chamber of Commerce information booth in South Wellfleet.

WALKING TOURS

During the season the Wellfleet Historical Society conducts twice weekly walking tours around Wellfleet. On Tuesday and Friday mornings meet at the Museum at 10:15 a.m. ready to learn some of Wellfleet's lore as you walk along Wellfleet's streets and hidden lanes. You will discover what you might have missed before and learn stories of streets you may want to know. And when the hour and a half stroll is over your $3 fee includes a visit to the Museum to find more pleasure in the collection because you have learned so much about the Town.

OYSTER FESTIVAL

Saturday, October 18 and Sunday, October 19

The museum will be open these two days during the festival and featuring exhibits covering the history of the oyster industry in Wellfleet.
